An essential requirement for the realization of ultralarge scale integrated and novel heterostructure devices is the development of low-temperature epitaxial growth technology. In this project, we are demonstrating that InSb, Si and a-Sn can be grown by conventional RF diode sputtering at low growth temperatures without high- temperature thermal cleaning of the substrates.
