Optical Properties: Amorphous Materials (S.Adachi, T.Miyazaki and S. Ozaki)

The optical response in amorphous materials is studied using various optical techniques, such as optical absorption, modulation spectroscopy, and spectroscopic ellipsometry. Of particular interest is the optical dispersion relations and sum rules in the amorphous semiconductors. The amorphous materials being studied in this project are the group-IV and VI elements, II-VI, III-VI, III2-VI3, III-V, and II-VI-VI2 materials.
